Construction Corner is an indoor play space in Powell, Ohio, built for kids ages 2–10. With seven hands-on play zones — from a kid-sized mechanical excavator to an AR sand table — little builders can dig, climb, create, and explore. Open 7 days a week, 9am–6pm.
THE DIGGER
Climb into the seat of our kid-sized mechanical excavator and get to work! Kids control real levers and joysticks to dig through a pit filled with colorful balls, uncovering hidden surprises along the way. It's one of the most unique play experiences in the Columbus area — and one of the first things kids run straight to on every single visit. The Digger builds hand-eye coordination, cause-and-effect thinking, and the kind of confidence that only comes from operating your very own machine. Best for ages 2–8, though older kids rarely want to give up the controls either.

CRAWL CLIMB ZONE
Get ready to burn some serious energy! Our indoor jungle gym features twisty tunnels, climbing structures, and thrilling slides designed to challenge little bodies and reward big bravery. Kids can navigate the course solo or race friends through the obstacles, making it a great spot for building physical confidence and spatial awareness. The Crawl & Climb Zone is a favorite for kids ages 3–9 and a guaranteed way to wear out even the most energetic little builders. Parents love the clear sightlines — you can watch every twist and turn from the seating area right nearby.
BLOCK TOWN
Little architects, this one's for you. Block Town features a wall of oversized soft foam construction tools and building pieces sized perfectly for small hands. Kids can stack, sort, design, and demolish to their heart's content — then start all over again. It's one of our quieter, more imaginative play zones, ideal for toddlers and preschoolers who love open-ended creative play. Building with blocks is one of the most research-backed activities for early childhood development, supporting spatial reasoning, problem-solving, and fine motor skills — all disguised as pure fun.
AR SANDSCAPE
Where real sand meets augmented reality — and the result is something kids have never seen before. TINKER SPACE
Step onto the job site and get to work! Tinker Space is a replica construction worksite complete with a house frame and real kid-sized construction tools, giving little builders the most authentic hands-on experience in the play space. Kids can hammer, measure, and build just like the crews they see working on real job sites — no pretending required. It's imaginative play that builds genuine confidence, fine motor skills, and a serious sense of accomplishment when the job is done. A favorite for kids ages 3–9 who want to do the real thing, not just watch from the sidelines.
IMAGINATION STATION
Part art studio, part video game — Imagination Station is where creativity meets technology in the coolest way. Kids choose from up to 20 construction-themed coloring designs, color them in however they'd like, then scan their artwork and watch it spring to life on an interactive touchscreen display. Every design is completely unique to the child who made it. It's a wonderful screen-free alternative that builds fine motor skills and creative confidence.
CRASH ZONE
Buckle up — things are about to get loud (in the best way). The Crash Zone features a ramp and race track where kids launch toy construction vehicles at full speed, crashing them into blocks, buildings, and barriers in a completely sanctioned demolition derby. It's fast, physical, and endlessly repeatable — kids line up the vehicles and do it again and again without any prompting. The Crash Zone is perfect for high-energy kids ages 2–9 who love action, movement, and the deeply satisfying sound of things going boom. Fair warning: this one always attracts a crowd.

Children ages 2 to 10 years old can play.
Purchase a One or Two-Hour Play Pass for each playing child. Each playing child includes an adult free of charge.
Waiver must be signed for all children by a legal guardian. All adults must sign a waiver as well.
Children required to wear Construction Corner Grip It Socks. Parents must wear regular socks. No bare feet allowed.
Siblings under 2 years old are free but do not include an additional adult

What ages is Construction Corner for?

Construction Corner is designed for kids ages 2 to 10 years old. Our seven play zones — from the kid-sized excavator to the AR sand table — are built to spark curiosity and burn energy at every stage. Younger toddlers love the Block Town foam wall, while older kids tend to gravitate toward the AR Sand Table and Tinker Station race track.
Do I need a reservation, or can we just show up?

Reservations are strongly recommended, especially on weekends and during school breaks when our play space fills up fast. You can purchase a play pass online ahead of time to guarantee your spot. Walk-ins are welcome when space is available, but we'd hate for your little builder to miss out!
How much does it cost to visit Construction Corner?

We offer two play pass options: a one-hour pass for $18 and a two-hour pass for $28. Each playing child's pass includes one adult free of charge. Additional adults are $4 each. Siblings under 2 years old are always free. We also offer a monthly membership starting at $25 for unlimited visits — perfect for families who want to make Construction Corner part of their regular routine.
What should my child wear?

All children are required to wear Construction Corner Grip-It Socks — they keep little feet safe and the play space clean. If your child doesn't have a pair, we sell them on-site for $3.50. Adults must wear regular socks as well. No bare feet allowed on the job site!
Can I bring outside food or snacks?

Outside food is permitted during open play as long as it does not create a mess or disrupt the space. For general play visits, we recommend enjoying meals before or after your session.

Absolutely — and we might be the most fun birthday party venue in Powell, Ohio. We offer two party packages: the Premium Party ($660) for up to 25 kids with 2 hours of private play, drinks, cupcakes, grip socks, and construction hats; and the Play Date Party ($28/child) for groups of 5–12 kids with shared play, a reserved dining area, and juice boxes for every child. Is Construction Corner good for toddlers and younger kids?

Yes! While our space is designed for ages 2–10, toddlers especially love the Block Town foam wall and the Imagination Station coloring activity. The play environment is safe, padded, and supervised, making it a great option for sensory play and early development. Many of our members are families with kids in the 2–4 age range who visit multiple times a week.
